We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Bobarista to join our vibrant café team! As a Bobarista, you will be the heart of our customer experience, crafting delicious beverages, providing exceptional service, and ensuring our café runs smoothly. Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages such as coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks with precision and care.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing retail sales transactions efficiently.
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and serve beverages with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area by regularly cleaning equipment, counters, and seating areas to ensure food safety standards are met.
- Handle cash transactions accurately by processing payments, giving correct change, and balancing cash drawers at shift end.
- Follow food handling procedures to ensure safe food preparation and uphold hygiene standards in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness to keep the café well-stocked and inviting.
Skills
- Proven experience as a barista or in food service roles within cafés or the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of beverage service techniques and non-alcoholic drink preparation.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for retail transactions.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction processing.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and proper cleaning protocols.
