Employee serves as a Water Laborer responsible for maintenance & repairs to the water plants and distribution system.
Assist in the daily operations of the Water Department including but not limited to:

Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or G.E.D.; and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Previous water experience is preferred. Previous experience working in municipal government is desired. Class B CDL is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Thorough knowledge of and ability to make practical application of department and OSHA safety policies and procedures.

Ability to ensure proper operation and maintenance of department vehicles, equipment, and tools.

Must have general computer knowledge in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Must have a safe work record with good ethics and dependable attendance.

Must have and maintain a valid Driver's License, a safe driving record, and must remain insurable through the Town's liability insurance carrier.

This job operates primarily in a professional office environment with moderate safety/health hazard potential. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
While the role follows a work schedule of 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, this job may require work beyond these hours.
In-town travel will be required.
