Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing attentive and personalized service to enhance their experience
- Manage reservations using Resy
- Assist with guest inquiries via phone and in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Support the food service team by managing wait times and coordinating table assignments to optimize service delivery
- Uphold guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally, turning any issues into positive interactions
Skills
- Proven experience as a host or hostess in a busy restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests and create welcoming environments
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with guests, team members, and management
- Familiarity with TOAST and Resy
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred
- Knowledge of guest services, serving etiquette, and hospitality best practices to elevate guest satisfaction
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor under pressure
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
