A Day in the Life
- Operate and adjust manufacturing equipment, including flame cutters, punch presses, CNC machines, saws, grinders, and other shop tools.
- Perform hands‑on production tasks: cutting, forming, drilling, machining, stamping, stacking, and material handling.
- Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and routing sheets to ensure accuracy.
- Inspect and measure parts using calipers, gauges, and other tools to verify quality.
- Record production data, scrap amounts, and quality checks throughout the shift.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; perform basic machine upkeep.
- Contribute to a team environment that values safety, craftsmanship, and consistent output.
What Will Help You Thrive in This Role?
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use measuring tools (calipers, gauges, etc.).
- Mechanical aptitude and interest in learning various machines and processes.
- Comfort working on your feet and performing repetitive tasks for up to 8 hours.
- Ability to lift 50–90 lbs. as needed and handle materials up to 15 lbs. continuously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality work.
- Reliability, teamwork, and a safety‑first mindset.
- Ability to provide your own standard hand tools.
