As our new Application Engineer I, you will be providing technical support, product selections, and quotations for Peerless pump solutions — ensuring every specification is met with precision while collaborating with business partners, internal teams, and suppliers to deliver outstanding results. What you will be doing
As a key part of the Industrial Applications Engineering team, you'll create impact by bridging the gap between customer needs and engineered solutions, ensuring every project is technically sound, competitively priced, and delivered on time.
Your main responsibilities include:

Review product specifications to determine technical requirements including equipment selection, sizing, costing, and pricing development.

Coordinate with direct suppliers on pricing, delivery timelines, and technical information to support accurate proposals.

Provide detailed documentation to Project Management covering pricing, delivery schedules, design information, and specification exceptions.

Conduct post-fulfillment project reviews to identify causes of margin erosion and implement improvements.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate inefficiencies and errors in the order-winning process.

Serve as the voice of the customer, advocating for their needs while aligning with departmental procedures and Grundfos values.
