What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality nursing care to oncology patients in a telemetry PCU setting
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, including dysrhythmias and cardiac drips management
- Assist with invasive procedures such as port access, blood product administration, and IV starts
- Manage complex patient care needs, including chest tubes, external ventilators (CPAP/BIPAP), and tracheostomy care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient safety and care excellence
- Follow infection control and fall prevention protocols effectively
- Float within units of similar or lower acuity as needed
What You Need
- Valid Ohio nursing license or Compact license
- Minimum 2 years of experience in high-acuity or telemetry/PCU nursing (preferred but not required)
- Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIH
- Skills: Cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV management, basic critical care procedures, and patient safety protocols
- Additional Skills (Preferred): Chemotherapy administration, wound care, arterial line management, and advanced airway management
