Job Summary
Lexen Homes is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent – Building Systems & Utilities to coordinate all Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, Gas, and Underground utility work for our residential construction projects.
The ideal candidate has strong field experience, excellent subcontractor management skills, and an established network of reliable plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and underground utility crews in the Houston area that can be mobilized as projects require.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate plumbing, electrical, HVAC, gas, and underground utility subcontractors.
- Schedule and oversee rough-ins, inspections, utility releases, and final installations.
- Review plans and ensure all work meets project specifications and local building codes.
- Monitor project schedules and resolve field issues to keep projects on track.
- Maintain quality, safety, and production standards throughout construction.
- Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Track subcontractor performance and ensure timely project completion.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of residential construction field experience.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and underground utility systems.
- Existing network of qualified subcontractor crews in the Houston market is strongly preferred.
- Ability to read construction plans and coordinate multiple trades.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Procore or similar construction management software is a plus.
- Fluent Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
