Shop Technician – Truck & Equipment Cleaning/Maintenance

Position Summary
We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Shop Technician to help wash, clean, service, and maintain our fleet of trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.
This is a hands-on job where you will get dirty, wet, muddy, and greasy. You will be washing heavy equipment, crawling around and underneath trucks and machinery, handling grease and oil, and helping perform routine maintenance. If you are looking for a clean or light-duty job, this is probably not the right position.
Primary Duties
- Thoroughly wash and clean trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.
- Pressure wash mud, dirt, grease, and debris from equipment.
- Clean truck interiors, undercarriages, engine compartments, and equipment cabs.
- Grease trucks and heavy equipment.
- Change filters and check/change fluids.
- Assist with tire changes and basic truck, trailer, and equipment maintenance.
- Assist mechanics with repairs and maintenance as needed.
- Inspect equipment while cleaning and report leaks, damage, worn parts, or other problems.
- Keep the wash bay, shop, tools, hoses, and work areas clean and organized.
- Help prepare trucks and equipment for upcoming projects.
- Perform other shop and equipment-related work as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Not afraid to get dirty or greasy.
- Comfortable working around large trucks and heavy equipment.
- Able to bend, kneel, climb, crawl, and work underneath equipment.
- Able to follow instructions and work safely.
- Basic mechanical or equipment maintenance experience is preferred but not required.
This position is a good fit for someone who enjoys working with trucks and heavy equipment, doesn't mind getting their hands dirty, and wants to learn more about truck and heavy-equipment maintenance.
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
