Bayside Recovery, a private Medications for Opioid Use Disorder Outpatient Treatment Program (MOUD-OPT), is actively seeking full-time or part time LPN to join our dynamic team. Position Overview:
As a Dispensing Nurse at Bayside Recovery, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive services to individuals diagnosed with opioid use disorder. In collaboration with fellow counselors, nurses, and program physicians, you will work closely to facilitate the holistic treatment and recovery process. Here are some key responsibilities of the role:
- Administer daily medications to patients.
- Evaluate/assess patient health and stability and suitability for ingesting medications.
- Dispensing tablet, liquid and sublingual medications utilized in addiction treatment.
- Coordinate/manage guest medication.
- Utilizes automated dispensing systems, calibrates, and maintains equipment.
- Performs recordkeeping to monitor and report on medication inventory.
- Ensures compliance for distribution and storage of controlled substances.
- Orders, receives and inventory medication stock.
- Performs additional support services that includes but not limited to; medication recalls and verifications, PDMP validations, TB tests, EKGs, and Drug screen testing.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Reports a designated supervisor determined by the Medical Services Director or Program Administrator.
Qualifications:
- Licensed with the state of Maryland as LPN.
- CPR/BLS certified within 3 months of hire.
- Must pass a criminal background check.

Pay: $21.00 - $32.00 per hour
