Key Qualifications:
- Certification as an SLPA, prepared to practice in a school setting
- Prior experience working in educational environments or with pediatric clients preferred
- Ability to engage with diverse student populations from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and Portuguese a plus, but not required
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language services to students according to individualized education plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Support progress monitoring, documentation, and data collection for assigned caseload
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, SLPs, families, and other school staff to facilitate student communication growth
- Contribute to the creation of therapeutic materials and participate in team meetings as needed
- Adapt communication strategies and activities to meet the needs of culturally and linguistically diverse students
