Overview
We are seeking unskilled willing learn, to skilled electrical journeyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess anywhere from an interest in electrical trade to strong background in electrical work and carpentry, demonstrating proficiency in both low voltage systems and general maintenance person tasks. This role is essential for ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various tasks including frame carpentry and electrical installations.
- Conduct tests using an ohmmeter and voltmeter to ensure proper functionality of electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot issues with logic controllers and other automated systems, providing timely solutions.
- Collaborate with team members on projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project timelines.
- Perform general maintenance person duties as required, contributing to overall maintenance and repair tasks within the facility.
Experience
- No experience up to proven experience as a Journeyperson or similar role in the electrical or construction field.
- Familiarity with low voltage systems, NEC regulations, power tools, hand tools, frame carpentry, logic controllers, and industrial electrician practices is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
