PIPE LAYER
Responsibilities:
- Installing and assembling underground pipe systems for water, sewer, and drains
- Ability to cut pipe to proper length
- Set up lasers and shooting grade
- Seal joints
- Inspect places where pipes are fitted together to ensure pipes are spaced properly and according to all specifications
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, & Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 2+ years of experience as pipe layer in the construction industry
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Have good communication skills and experience working in a team environment.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, bending, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing
- Be able to lift or move items weighing up to 50+ pounds
