Available Shifts: Day Shift, 7:00am - 7:00pm
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, hands-on care while assisting residents with personal care, daily activities, mobility, dining, and other individual needs.
The ideal candidate will treat every resident with dignity, respect, patience, and kindness while helping promote their comfort, safety, and independence.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, toileting, incontinence care, positioning, transfers, and mobility.

Encourage residents to remain as independent as their abilities allow.

Change bed linens and assist with collecting, laundering, and distributing linens and garments as permitted by applicable regulations.

Accurately document resident care and complete all required forms and records.

Promptly report changes in a resident’s condition or other concerns to the supervisor in charge.

Monitor and record vital signs as directed by regulations, community policies, or a healthcare provider’s order.

Respond promptly to emergency call signals and requests for assistance.

Follow all accident, disaster, fire-safety, elopement, infection-control, and emergency procedures.

Report incidents promptly and complete all required documentation professionally and accurately.

Immediately report suspected abuse, neglect, inappropriate care, or misuse of resident or community property to the Director of Nursing.

Become familiar with residents’ backgrounds, preferences, routines, habits, and interests while protecting their privacy and confidentiality.

Support residents during mealtimes and help create an enjoyable dining experience.

Assist residents with eating and with carrying plates, trays, and beverages as needed.

Maintain clean, safe, and organized resident rooms, work areas, dining spaces, and public areas as assigned.

Use and maintain resident-care equipment safely and properly.

Communicate professionally with residents, families, visitors, healthcare providers, supervisors, and team members.

Protect residents’ rights, dignity, safety, comfort, privacy, and satisfaction.

Answer telephone calls according to company and community standards when requested.

Assist in other positions or departments temporarily when necessary.

Perform other duties as assigned.
- Current registration or certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate honesty, dependability, fairness, and ethical conduct.

Ability to remain patient and professional when assisting individuals who may be ill, disabled, emotionally upset, or challenging.

Ability to perform CPR upon successful completion of required CPR certification.

Ability to follow care plans, safety procedures, infection-control practices, and emergency protocols.

Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Ability to meet all applicable health and safety requirements.

- Previous CNA or resident-care experience in a senior-living, retirement, long-term-care, or healthcare setting.
- We are currently hiring for both full-time and part-time day-shift positions from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Additional or overtime hours may be available based on resident and community needs.

Employees may be asked to assist temporarily in other positions when necessary.

Availability may be required during emergencies, severe weather, evacuations, or other unexpected community situations.

Work is performed in a healthcare and residential setting with frequent interaction with residents, families, visitors, and team members.
This position requires the ability to:

Sit, stand, and walk for short or extended periods.

Frequently bend, reach, stoop, squat, push, and pull.

Repeatedly use the hands, fingers, wrists, and arms.

Assist residents safely with positioning, transfers, and mobility.

Push, pull, and lift at least 25 pounds.

Perform the essential responsibilities of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
