Job Description:
Rosie’s Delicatessen is seeking an experienced and driven Manager to help oversee the daily operations of our deli and coffee shop combination. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and hospitality, a proven track record in managing a team, and the ability to provide exceptional guest service.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the supervising of all aspects of the daily operations of the deli and coffee shop, including food preparation, inventory management, and Guest Service.
Create and maintain a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, excellent guest service, and employee satisfaction.
Assist with and Supervise a team of deli and coffee shop employees
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective running of the deli and coffee shop.
Maintain and monitor inventory levels, ordering and receiving supplies, and managing food and labor costs to meet financial targets.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in a similar managerial role in the food service industry. A plus for someone with Cooking, Deli & Retail Experience.
Proven ability to manage and supervise a team, with excellent leadership and communication skills. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Exceptional customer service skills, with a passion for providing a high-quality customer experience. Sound knowledge of food preparation, inventory management, and financial management. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Knowledge of food safety regulations and health codes a MUST!
A degree or diploma in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
