Tool Room Tool & Die Maker / Machinist
Transfer Tool Products is seeking a Journeyman Toolmaker with 5+ years of experience to join our Tool Room team. This role supports production by building, maintaining, and repairing precision tooling used in our stamping operations. Candidates must be comfortable working with close tolerances using both CNC and manual equipment.
Essential functions:
· Program, set up, and operate CNC mills, lathes, and wire EDM
· Build, maintain, and repair blueprint tooling for stamping operations
· Work from detailed blueprints and CAD models
· Use SolidWorks (prints) and VISI (CAM) for CNC programming
· Operate manual tool room equipment as needed
· Measure and inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
· Maintain quality documentation and records
· Follow all safety and health procedures
· Maintain a clean and organized work area
