Job Description:
This role is a key position within our manufacturing plant and supports operations by efficiently managing one’s schedule. Individuals must prioritize safety for themselves and others. An effective quality control individual must have a heavy presence on the floor to periodically check weights and observe any irregularities, aside from any other assigned duties. We strive for the highest safety, quality, and efficiency standards. This position is exposed to both refrigerated and non-refrigerated areas throughout our facility. Bi-lingual English and Spanish candidates are a plus.
- General plant operations.
- Knowledge of all plant processes and regulatory constraints.
- Knowledge of production and shipping documentation.
- Working knowledge of how to manage and verify CCP’s controls.
- Proficient in reading, writing and advanced mathematical skills.
- Safe food handling is a must.
- Must be able to take and give directions well.
- Excellent punctuality and attendance are a must.
- Excellent communication written and spoken is a must.
- Attention to detail is a must.
- Generally good housekeeping.
Job Requirements:
- 2 years + QC experience is preferred.
- Food Industry experience is preferred.
- Willingness and ability to work in wet, ambient, hot to cold environments.
- Must have experience working independently.
- Previous plant operations knowledge is preferred.
- Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous knowledge of inline testing and sampling is preferred.
- Should be able to work long hours and able to work overtime when required, as per the business needs.
- PPEs are required.
- Safety conscious individual.
- Should have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to lift to 20 pounds infrequently.
- Detail orientated, self-starter, and punctual.
- Above average mathematical skills.
Plant requirements:
- Face mask, hairnet, smock, and safety shoes are to be always worn, while inside of plant.
- Temperature check at each shift.
- Mask is given to employees and required.
- Face shield to those applicable positions.

- Shift- AM Shift: 5:30 AM – 2:00PM plus OT
- 8-hour Shift
- Overtime
- Weekends
