Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable, knowledgeable, and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / State Registered Nurse Aide (SRNA) to serve as a Caregiver Training Specialist. This position will work in the office Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and will be responsible for providing hands-on training and guidance to caregivers.
The primary purpose of this position is to ensure caregivers are properly prepared to perform the daily responsibilities of their jobs and provide safe, accurate, adequate, and compassionate care to clients. Training will include practical, hands-on instruction so caregivers can demonstrate their understanding and ability to perform required tasks appropriately.

Essential job duties for this position include the following items. Other duties must be performed as assigned or required.
- Provide hands-on training to new and existing caregivers on essential client-care responsibilities.
- Demonstrate proper techniques for assisting clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), as appropriate to the caregiver's role.
- Train caregivers on safe and appropriate client-care practices, including personal care, mobility assistance, transfers, positioning, hygiene, meal assistance, and other assigned tasks.
- Observe caregivers performing hands-on skills and provide constructive feedback and correction when needed.
- Ensure caregivers demonstrate adequate understanding and competency before independently performing assigned duties.
- Reinforce company policies, procedures, safety practices, and client-care expectations.
- Educate caregivers on maintaining client dignity, privacy, independence, and respect.
- Help caregivers understand the importance of following individualized care plans and reporting changes in a client's condition or needs.
- Identify areas where additional training or education is needed and provide appropriate follow-up.
- Maintain accurate documentation of training, competency demonstrations, and completed education.
- Communicate caregiver training concerns or performance issues to management.
- Assist with ongoing caregiver education and skills refreshers as needed.
- Maintain a professional, positive, and supportive training environment.
- Serve as a resource and role model for caregivers regarding appropriate client-care practices.
- Perform other training-related duties as assigned by management.

- Current CNA/SRNA certification in good standing.
- Previous experience providing direct client or patient care.
- Strong understanding of basic caregiving and client-safety practices.
- Ability to demonstrate caregiving skills accurately and effectively.

- Patient, encouraging, and professional approach to teaching others.
- Ability to identify mistakes or knowledge gaps and provide appropriate corrective instruction.
