Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with strong Tool & Die experience and a background machining heavy weldments in a low-volume, high-mix manufacturing environment.
This position is responsible for independently setting up, operating, adjusting, and troubleshooting CNC machining equipment, including open-table Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs), Horizontal Machining Centers (HMCs), and Horizontal Boring Mills.
The ideal candidate is comfortable performing complex setups, interpreting technical drawings and GD&T requirements, making machine and tooling adjustments, and producing parts within required specifications and tolerances.
Shift Availability
We are currently hiring for the following shifts:
- 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM — 1 opening
- 3rd Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM — 1 opening
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Independently set up and operate CNC machining centers, including VMCs, HMCs, and Horizontal Boring Mills.
- Machine large weldments and perform complex setups using probes, tool setters, indicators, and edge finders.
- Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, CAD files, and machining specifications.
- Establish and adjust work offsets, including G54 and multiple coordinate systems.
- Read, interpret, and edit G-code and M-code to prove out and optimize programs.
- Select and adjust tooling, speeds, and feeds to maintain quality and maximize tool life.
- Troubleshoot machining, tooling, setup, and dimensional issues.
- Use precision measuring and inspection equipment to verify parts meet specifications and tolerances.
- Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned that are consistent with the position.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of CNC machining experience in a job shop, Tool & Die, custom manufacturing, or similar environment.
- Tool & Die experience required.
- Experience independently setting up CNC machining centers.
- Experience with VMCs, HMCs, and/or Horizontal Boring Mills.
- Experience machining large weldments and performing complex setups.
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge.
- Experience with G-code/M-code, work offsets, tooling selection, speeds, and feeds.
- Strong troubleshooting and precision measurement skills.
- Fanuc control experience preferred.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Pay: $40.00 - $43.00 per hour
