Turn bare fuselages into finished aircraft by preparing surfaces, masking, and blending.

Produce and use patterns; perform layout for stripes, graphics, registration, and stencils.

Apply primers, topcoats, and specialty finishes; place external markings to spec.

100% onsite at North Charleston, SC (BSC).

Variable shift role. Shift is assigned at hire based on business needs; training shift may differ; re-evaluation occurs as needed.

1+ year of painting experience (aircraft/automotive/industrial/general).

Able to work variable shifts; final shift confirmed post-training.

PPE-ready: fall protection, safety equipment, and masks/respirators.

Physical capability: constant walking; 6–8 hours standing; climbing stairs/steps up to 8 hours; climbing ladders; frequent bending/twisting up to six hours; squatting/kneeling; lifting/carrying 10–35 lbs.

Comfort working with high-hazard chemicals.

3+ years related experience or equivalent education/experience blend.

3+ years aircraft or automotive painting.

Complete the Aerospace Technician and Mechanic Aptitude Virtual Job Tryout (technical assessment) to remain in consideration.

Export control: Role requires a “U.S. Person” per 22 C.F.R. §120.62 (U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).

Summary Pay Range:
Summary pay range level B: $55,680 - $64,000
Summary pay range level C: $65,280 - $67,320
