Duties
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on medium-duty trucks, including diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, and hydraulic systems.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic scanners to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
- Conduct vehicle diagnostics using schematics and automotive electrical system repair techniques to identify faults accurately.
- Repair and replace components related to brakes, shocks & struts, and tire service to ensure vehicle safety standards are met.
- Follow safety protocols during all repair activities and maintain a clean work environment for optimal efficiency.
- Document all repairs performed and communicate findings clearly to team leads or service managers.
Skills
- Prior repair experience is a plus but not required for a quick integration into our team.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in diesel mechanics, automotive diagnostics, transmissions, hydraulics, and vehicle systems.
- Proficiency with schematics reading and electrical system repair techniques to accurately diagnose complex issues.
- Experience with fabrication, welding, soldering, and equipment assembly enhances your versatility on the shop floor.
- Familiarity with automotive electrical systems repair including HVAC systems for trucks is advantageous.
- Excellent customer service skills for communicating effectively with drivers about vehicle repairs.

Pay: $41,600.00 - $60,000.00 per year
