Overview
WIS Security Services has immediate openings for security officers in the Sophia, NC area. The bulk of our sites include Distribution center. We are seeking dependable, hardworking individuals that are ready to take on a new job making their communities feel safer. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.
Duties
- Scan tours throughout the shift
- Foot patrol of sites
- Standing for the duration of the shift (excludes mobile shifts)
- Acting as a deterrent for theft, vandalism, loitering, etc.
- Writing daily activity reports
- Observing and reporting incidents to supervisors and clients
- And most importantly, providing peace of mind to the communities which we serve
Qualifications
- Reliable transportation
- A valid driver's license - we often have mobile shifts, which require a valid (meaning non-expired) driver's license
- An active guard card for the state of North Carolina - we cannot accept guard cards from other states
- A valid state-issued ID (meaning non-expired)
