Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated ACS Software Technician to support the development, deployment, and maintenance of AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) control systems. The ideal candidate will have engineering or software development experience, particularly with industrial automation software and vehicle control/integration.
However, entry-level candidates with a STEM background are also encouraged to apply
Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean is required for effective communication with our global engineering and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot AGV Control System (ACS) software
- Support system commissioning and integration with WMS/MES/PLC systems
- Monitor AGV operations and optimize performance through software adjustments
- Diagnose and resolve software and communication issues in real-time
- Collaborate with engineers and customers on system upgrades and customizations
- Provide on-site or remote technical support as needed
Requirements:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with AGV systems or industrial automation software preferred
- Familiarity with programming/scripting (C/C++, Python, Java, etc.) is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Able to speak and understand both English and Korean.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for system support
