Overview
In this fast-paced role, you will be the responsible for expertly cutting, trimming, and preparing meat products to meet specifications and ensure the highest standards of freshness and safety. Your skills will help support our commitment to delivering premium meat products.
Duties
- Skillfully cut, trim, and prepare various types of meats according to established recipes and customer requests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the meat preparation area in compliance with food safety standards
- Follow all food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure product freshness
- Communicate shortages or quality issues to management
Qualifications
- Strong knife skills with the ability to perform precise meat cutting and trimming
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices
- Experience with packaging, labeling, and maintaining cleanliness in a food service setting
- Familiarity with kitchen or meat processing equipment is a plus
- Prior experience in a butcher shop environment is highly desirable
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
