Join our team as a prep cook (4-6pm) dishwasher (6pm-12am).
Katana Team's dishwasher is a valuable team member who can work great in a busy restaurant quickly. That's why our dishwashers are paid in commission (hence the $200-$400 range). We guarantee $200/day and on average, our dishwashers make $350/day.
Duties
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment efficiently to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning, and organizing ingredients for service.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, including sweeping, mopping, and trash disposal.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene compliance.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of prepared foods and smooth service flow.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Familiarity with food handling, cleaning protocols, and basic food prep techniques.
- Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude in fast-paced settings.
