Review plans, specifications and notes with Project Managers or estimators, as needed, prior to job start to ensure complete understanding of the project requirements.
Review and compare plans, specifications, proposal and notes with site conditions for verification and layout.
Coordination with owners, architects, homeowners, etc.
Various forms of documentation including: extra work tickets, daily reports, safety forms, time sheets, field files, etc.
Review and documentation of changes made to irrigation and landscaping on as-built drawings.
Delegation of responsibilities to subordinates to ensure maximum efficiency on site.
Preparation of critical paths, forecast and schedule upcoming needs of: materials, labor, equipment to maintain project durations.
Operation of heavy equipment as necessary (Excavators, Skid Steer, Forklift).
Plant identification and layout per plans or instructions.
Layout, organization and quality control of irrigation installation.
Able to twist and/or lift, (such as shoveling bark, topsoil, etc)
Able to bend, kneel, or squat for prolonged period of time (planting annuals, groundcover, etc.)
Able to reach above shoulder height
Able to climb into truck bed, work on sloping ground
Able to handle equipment, such as wheelbarrow, shovels, rakes, brooms, etc.
Able to work in varying weather conditions
