Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, performing dental hygiene procedures, and ensuring a comfortable experience for our patients. This role requires a thorough understanding of dental terminology, infection control practices, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document findings in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing using appropriate techniques and tools.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Collaborate with dentists in four-handed dentistry to enhance patient care efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Requirements
- Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.
- Knowledge of general dentistry practices.
- Strong understanding of anatomy knowledge related to oral health and dental procedures.
- Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and education.
