Field Service Technician
Responsibilities
As a Field Service Technician with The Husky Crew, you will perform a variety of outdoor and indoor property maintenance, repair, and improvement services for residential and commercial customers. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Perform lawn mowing, grass cutting, trimming, and edging services.
- Operate weed-eaters, push mowers.
- Remove weeds, overgrown vegetation, and unwanted brush from properties.
- Assist with seasonal property cleanups, including leaf removal and debris removal.
- Perform mulching, landscaping, flower bed maintenance, and other general lawn care services.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance of customer properties.
- Perform interior and exterior painting projects, including surface preparation, priming, and painting.
- Assist with drywall installation, drywall repair, patching, sanding, and finishing.
- Complete minor carpentry, repair, and maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Install, repair, and replace fixtures, hardware, and other property components.
- Perform general handyman services for residential and commercial customers.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely while following company procedures.
- Load, unload, transport, and organize tools, materials, and equipment at job sites.
- Follow work orders and complete assigned tasks in a timely and professional manner.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and customers.
- Maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service while representing The Husky Crew in a professional manner.
- Assist with other property maintenance, cleaning, repair, and improvement projects as needed.
This position requires flexibility, reliability, and a willingness to perform a wide variety of lawn care, handyman, and property maintenance services throughout the service area.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred
- Reliable personal transportation preferred
- Smartphone with internet access required
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Dependable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion
- Basic knowledge of smartphones, GPS navigation, and mobile apps
- Ability to maintain client confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Experience in customer service, housekeeping, property maintenance, or related fields is preferred but not required
- Must be comfortable interacting with residential clients
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions
Pay: From $10.00 per hour
