Unload and transfer liquid raw materials from tankers and rail cars into holding and bulk storage tanks

Connect hoses, transfer pumps, and related equipment

Climb on top of and underneath tankers and rail cars as required

Vent rail cars and safely prepare equipment for material transfer

Use steam to heat materials when necessary to allow proper pumping and transfer

Monitor tank temperatures, pressure, and operating conditions
-
Perform rounds and ensure materials are transferred to the correct locations

Load and unload materials while maintaining accurate documentation
-
Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment
-
Follow DOT, HAZMAT, safety, and company procedures
-
Maintain accurate inventory and shipment records
-
Use SAP and Microsoft applications for documentation and communication
-
Participate in Lean and continuous-improvement initiatives
-
Work independently once fully trained and qualified
High school diploma or GED
-
Stable work history and demonstrated commitment to previous employers
-
Mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand basic plumbing, valves, pumps, and material-transfer systems
-
Ability to safely work outdoors in varying weather conditions
-
Ability to climb ladders, stairs, rail cars, and tankers
-
Ability to work around chemicals, machinery, dust, fumes, and loud equipment
-
Ability to wear required PPE and follow strict safety procedures
-
Ability to successfully complete a physical/human performance evaluation
Experience is helpful in any of the following areas:

No CDL, HAZWOPER, or specialized shipping certification is required. Forklift qualification and job-specific training are provided.
This is a physically demanding, hands-on position, with approximately 70–80% of the work performed outdoors. The role involves climbing on and underneath tankers and rail cars, connecting hoses, operating transfer equipment, and working around industrial equipment.
