Position Summary
Budder's is seeking a reliable, organized, and fast-paced Weekend Expo to help ensure every plate leaves the kitchen accurately, promptly, and looking its best. The Expo serves as the communication link between the kitchen and front-of-house teams, helping maintain food quality, ticket times, and guest satisfaction during our busiest shifts.
Responsibilities
- Organize and manage incoming tickets during service
- Communicate clearly between kitchen staff and servers
- Ensure all food is prepared correctly and complete before leaving the kitchen
- Verify modifications, allergies, and special requests
- Garnish and plate menu items according to restaurant standards
- Maintain quality control and presentation standards
- Coordinate timing of orders so tables receive meals together whenever possible
- Keep the expo line clean, stocked, and organized throughout service
- Assist with running food when needed
- Help maintain a positive, professional, and team-oriented environment
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable weekend availability
- Previous restaurant experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
- Ability to stand for extended periods
Schedule
- Saturdays and Sundays (and Monday holidays)
- Our hours are 7:00am–2:00pm, and shifts typically start between 7:30–8:30am
- Availability during peak brunch hours required
- At this time, we are only considering candidates who are seeking ongoing employment and who anticipate being available to work through August and beyond. We are not hiring for seasonal or summer-only positions

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
