Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team in the culinary department. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for food preparation, menu execution, and meal preparation in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Your expertise in food handling and safety will ensure that our customers receive high-quality meals.
Duties:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and guidelines
- Ensure that all food is prepared and served in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and best practices
- Familiarity with dietary restrictions and special diets
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
