Job Summary
Our Business & Consumer Consultants ethically, effectively, and professionally perform administrative and customer service duties to businesses and consumers by answering their inquiries and providing excellent customer service, as well as providing support to the Operations and Accreditation departments
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond to telephone calls, emails, and letters from consumers and businesses regarding complaints, scams, requests for business reviews, referrals to various organizations, and other matters
- Assist the Dispute Resolution department in various stages of the complaint process
- Assist with sending direct mail to businesses and consumers
- Process returned mail
- Assist with investigations
- Assist with Customer Review publishing
- Assist with the maintenance and quality control of BBB’s database
- Accurately and professionally perform other office and/or BBB member support functions
- Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Proficient in MS Word
- Excellent telephone and oral communication skills
- High level of interpersonal skills and the ability to handle sensitive information/documentation with confidentiality
- Work independently as well as in a collaborative environment
- Customer service-oriented
- Ability to write clear, professional emails, letters, and documents
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30,000.00 - $32,000.00 per year
