Position Summary
Dassai Blue is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher / Facility Support Associate to help maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of our tasting room.
This position is responsible for dishwashing, cleaning, restroom maintenance, and general facility support. The role does not involve guest service or table service responsibilities.
The ideal candidate takes pride in keeping workspaces clean, organized, and operating smoothly behind the scenes.
Responsibilities
Dishwashing & Kitchen Support
- Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area
- Ensure all items are properly cleaned, sanitized, and stored
- Restock cleaning and sanitation supplies as needed
Facility Cleaning & Maintenance
- Monitor and maintain restroom cleanliness throughout tasting room operating hours
- Replenish restroom supplies as needed
- Sweep, mop, and clean public and back of house areas and restrooms
- Empty trash and recycling containers
- Maintain cleanliness of employee areas, storage rooms, and service stations
- Assist with opening and closing cleaning duties
General Support
- Receive and organize deliveries
- Assist with inventory storage and organization
- Support event setup and breakdown from a facilities and cleaning
- Report maintenance issues or facility concerns to management
- Perform other cleaning and facility-related duties may be assigned
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift
- Strong attention to cleanliness and organization
- Dependable and punctual
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Prior restaurant, hospitality, janitorial, or cleaning experience preferred but not required
Schedule
- Weekend availability required
- Flexible schedule based on business needs
Compensation
- $18–22 per hour, depending on experience
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
