Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Women’s Transitional Housing Business Development Representative to join our team in the Pine County MN area. This vital role focuses on expanding our outreach, building strategic partnerships, and driving growth for women’s transitional housing programs. As a key driver of community engagement and program expansion, you will leverage your sales, negotiation, and project management skills to create meaningful opportunities that empower women on their journey to stability. Your energetic approach will help foster relationships with community organizations, stakeholders, and potential clients to ensure our services reach those who need them most. This is a part time commissioned position requiring about 5-10 hours a week to start and then maybe reduced after contacts have been established and referrals are in place.
Duties
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to increase awareness and utilization of women’s transitional housing services in the Pine County MN area
- Build and nurture relationships with community partners, nonprofits, government agencies, and other stakeholders to foster collaboration and program growth
- and analyze engagement data for continuous improvement
- Conduct market research and outreach campaigns using marketing strategies to identify new opportunities and expand program visibility
- Represent the organization at community events, meetings, and networking opportunities to promote services and gather feedback
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or strategic planning within social services or nonprofit sectors is highly desirable
- Strong proficiency with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build trust-based relationships with diverse entities
- Knowledge of marketing principles and experience in executing outreach campaigns effectively
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written—with a passion for empowering women through transitional housing programs
- Familiarity with project management tools and techniques to ensure efficient program execution
