Job Summary
The Gas Station Manager is responsible for the full management of the station and store. Your leadership will foster a positive team environment while maintaining operational excellence across all facets of the store. Responsibilities
- Purchasing and Pricing
- Pricing of gas to be reviewed daily and adjustment
- Order gas and monitor delivery progress
- Odering product for store with vendors
- Buying products and required supplies for store use
- Reconciliations and Billing
- Daily receipts and account for cash
- Reconcile fuel deliveries to tank measurements daily
- Reconcile Fuel purchases to credit, cash and cc billings daliy
- Maintain cash and coin for upfront
- Maintaining GL and reconciling it with Bank
- Billing for all accounts. Including delivering and picking up checks on a weekly basis
- Reconcile Credit cards
- Prepare montly info for accounting
- Payments
- Handle and Pay Lottery
- Load ATM
- Property and Staff Management
- Customer service
- Hiring, training, discipline if needed of staff
- Basic Maintenance of the property
- FDNY inspections
- Fire extinguisher inspections
- Tank tightness testing
- Cathodic protection testing
- Inspections by DEC, DCA, and other agencies
- Renew licenses
Requirements
- Position requires a high school or above diploma and at least 5 years of gas station management experience or any combination of education and relevant experience may be considered. Demonstrated abilites in:
- Cash handling
- Store management
- Payroll management
- gas station management
- convenience store management
- Computer experience at an intermediate level required
Pay: $62,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
