Brendle Crouse, P.A. is a well-established public accounting firm serving individuals, businesses and trusts throughout North Carolina. We are seeking an experienced Tax Preparer/Tax Accountant to join our growing team.

What You'll Do
As a member of our tax team, you'll prepare a variety of tax returns while working closely with fellow accountants and clients to provide exceptional service.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare federal and state Individual (1040), Partnership (1065), Corporation (1120/1120S), and Trust (1041) tax returns
- Review client financial information and supporting documentation
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding tax matters and information requests
- Follow firm workflows and meet filing deadlines
- Utilize CCH Axcess Tax and other cloud-based accounting applications
- Work collaboratively with team members to provide outstanding client service
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who has:
- 3+ years of recent tax preparation experience in public accounting
- Experience using CCH Axcess Tax or ProSystem fx Tax
- Experience preparing Partnership, Corporation, Individual, and Trust tax returns
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines during tax season
- A professional, dependable, and positive attitude
- Commitment to maintaining strict client confidentiality

Office Hours (Outside of Busy Season):
- Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
