Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of bagels, spreads, and other food items with precision and care, adhering to food safety standards.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, payments, and transactions.
- Provide outstanding customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance the customer experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and equipment in accordance with health regulations.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while balancing register transactions at the end of shifts.
- Assist with food handling duties including bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring quick service during busy hours.
- Support team members in food preparation, cashiering, and general store maintenance to ensure efficient store operations.
Requirements
- MUST BE ABLE TO WORK BOTH SATURDAY AND SUNDAY.
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service environments such as quick service restaurants or cafés is preferred.
- Strong time management skills to handle fast-paced environments efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and clear communication abilities.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and retail transactions accurately.
