Middle/Upper-Level English
We are seeking a qualified, dedicated, and professional teacher passionate about Christian education and discipleship at the middle and upper school levels.
Qualified applicants meet the following criteria:
- A testimony of faith in and a dynamic relationship with Christ that draws children closer to God through example and discipleship
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Teacher Certification from ACSI or willingness to obtain
- A clear Background Check
- A completed employment application (found at bannerchristian.org)
- A demonstrably strong love for children
- Teaching experience in lower levels (preferred).
- Effective classroom management plan and strategies
- Preparation and execution of lesson plans including integrating a biblical worldview into all subjects taught
- Ability to deliver appropriate content to students, employing a variety of instructional methods
- Ability to assess student learning on an ongoing basis, using multiple assessment methods.
- Maintenance of records on the school management system (FACTS).
- Effective communication with students, parents, administration, faculty, and staff.
- Adherence to and enforcement of school policies and practices; functioning as a team player.
