Luxury Residential Construction – Site Superintendent

We are looking for a motivated, disciplined, and enthusiastic superintendent who will be part of our mission in building functional and beautiful homes!
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the ongoing day to day tasks at the job site.
- Open/Close the job-site daily. Site security.
- Maintain construction schedules. Project timeliness communication and coordination.
- Train, manage and develop Handcraft team (5-10 subordinates)
- Manage sub-contractors; track their performance and adherence to schedule, design intent and code compliance.
- Attend and participate in project meetings, including subcontractor meetings.
- Review, learn and maintain project construction documents.
- Able to read and understand plans, specifications, and scopes of work for all types of residential projects.
- Prepare daily reports, photo reports, job diaries and other reports as required.
- Communicate and enforce company policies including Safety directives.
- Communicate with Project Team to ensure full transparency of project.
- Site Presentation, maintain jobsite cleanliness.
- Other responsibilities as directed by supervisor.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in high pace residential construction market.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
- Knowledge of construction best practices.
- Understanding of construction equipment, including safe operating practices and signs of maintenance issues.
- In-depth understanding of local, state, and federal construction codes and regulations.
