Orange County Transit LLC is hiring for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year!
We are seeking to hire fully licensed BPS or CPS School Bus Drivers for our Wappingers location. We offer Full-Time, Part-Time, Per Diem, Trips and Charter work!
Experienced School Bus Drivers can earn up to $31.00 per hour for a Big Bus and $29.00 an hour for Small Bus in our Wappingers Falls location!
We offer a minimum of 30 hours per week, 6-hour guarantee daily.
Job Requirements:
- CDL Class B or C License with “P” and “S” endorsements and airbrakes
- At least 23 years or older
- Minimum of 1-2 years of school bus driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass DOT physical and DOT drug screening.
- Must have a clean driving history.
Flexible Schedules:
- Monday through Friday
- AM and PM Shift
- AM only Shift
- PM only Shift
- Per Diem - work when available
- Sports, Trips and Charter Drivers

- We offer free classes to help you obtain your CDL permit. Once you obtain your CDL permit we will train you behind the wheel to become a School Bus Driver!
- Must be willing to commit to employment for 10 months with the company.
