Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide prompt, friendly service to enhance their dining experience
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Upsell menu items to increase sales and promote special offers, contributing to overall revenue goals
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and adhering to sanitation standards
- Assist in food safety practices by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and energetic approach
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Experience working in quick service & fast food restaurants or cafes is advantageous
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
