Job Summary
Love Beets is seeking a reliable and skilled Production Worker , where we process, prepare, package and ship beets and beet products to retailers all over the country! The person in this role will be responsible for various tasks associated with the production process to ensure that beet packages and products are within specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Hours: B Shift. 3:15 p.m.- 1:45 a.m.; 4 10 hour shifts.
Duties
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Be able to effectively operate equipment
- Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) needed for assignment
- Work in an FDA regulated environment, ensuring adherence to all food safety guidelines.
- Adhere to all policies, procedures and operating procedures.
- Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, sit, push (up to 20 lbs), pull, lift (up to 40 lbs), use fingers to grip and grasp, listen/hear.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
- Temperature varies on the Production floor depending on the area of work - can be fairly warm or fairly cold.
Experience
- Previous related experience in an FDA regulated manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations preferred.
- Ability to speak and ready in English preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
