Position Summary: The Ready-Mix Concrete Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of ready-mix concrete to residential, commercial, industrial, and public works construction sites. Operating a commercial mixer truck requiring a CDL Class B license, this position ensures timely delivery, proper handling of concrete products, and exceptional customer service while maintaining compliance with all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
Job Description:

Safely operate a Ready-Mix concrete truck to deliver to various construction sites.
- Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections and follow all DOT and company safety standards.
- Load, transport, and unload concrete while maintaining proper mix, slump, and quality specifications.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and job-site personnel to ensure smooth, timely deliveries.
- Maintain cleanliness of truck and mixer drum; prevent buildup and ensure proper operation.
- Accurately complete delivery tickets, driving logs, and required DOT documentation.
Qualifications:

Valid CDL Class A or B license with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating commercial vehicles; Ready-Mix experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift 50lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions.
- Strong communication and customer-service skills on active job sites.
- Willingness to work early mornings, overtime, and occasional weekends as needed.
