Overview - MUST HAVE OSHA CONTRUCTION CERTIFICATION
We are seeking an OSHA Certified professional to join our team, ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations. This role is crucial in maintaining a safe work environment and promoting best practices within the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of workplace safety standards, be proactive in identifying potential hazards, and have the ability to implement effective training programs.
Duties
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Develop and implement safety training programs for employees at all levels.
- Perform root cause analysis for incidents and near misses, recommending corrective actions.
- Fabricate safety protocols and procedures tailored to specific workplace needs.
- Prepare detailed reports on safety performance, incidents, and compliance status.
- Stay updated on workers' compensation laws and ensure proper reporting and documentation.
- Collaborate with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) teams to promote a culture of safety.
- Provide first aid assistance as needed and maintain first aid supplies in the workplace.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of occupational health standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in fabricating safety protocols tailored to various environments.
- Expertise in conducting root cause analysis for workplace incidents.
- Familiarity with workers' compensation law and reporting requirements.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred.
- Understanding of Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations as they pertain to workplace safety.
- Excellent report writing skills for documenting findings and recommendations.
- Experience in developing training materials that engage employees effectively.
