Pan-Pacific Supply Company is a regionally recognized family-owned independent Industrial Distributor, founded in 1957. In addition to having a well-established customer base of product sales; we have recently expanded our service offering, to assist our customers with greater capabilities in repair, installation and troubleshooting. We are seeking an inside sales representative . We are looking for candidates who will embrace and embody our core value of taking ownership and responsibility for customer satisfaction.
Inside Sales personnel play a vital role in maintaining and developing critical customer relationships. They are often the first line of contact with our customers; and the impressions that are formed, can determine future business for the company. Friendly, professional and timely customer service, by our inside sales group, is essential for future growth. The successful candidate will be part of a Team of experienced and knowledgeable colleagues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Enter orders from the phone, email or customer web portals
- Create accurate quotations and sales orders based on published discounts and price lists.
- Utilize QuickBooks for order and quotation processing
- Place purchase orders and/or service items to suppliers and manufacturers. Foster positive working relationships with customer service reps with the manufacturers we represent.
- Determine customer delivery requirements and confirm availability
- Work with and support other inside sales team members
- Work with and support outside salesmen
- Resolve customer concerns regarding product problems or delivery
- Assist with pulling items for shipments
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience with QuickBooks, Word, Excel and Outlook preferred
- 3-5 years related experience and/or training
- Detail oriented
- Positive attitude and ability to work with others productively
- Knowledge of industrial pumps and pump parts a huge plus
