Job Description
St. Louis Precision is seeking a skilled and dedicated Molder to join our team. As a Molder, you will be responsible for producing no bake air set sand molds and fully preparing them for the melt department. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and quality of our production processes. We are looking for workers to start in our molding department but also have opportunities in the cleaning and melt departments.
Responsibilities:
- Follow SOP and work instructions applying to:
- equipment operation and maintenance,
- daily startup and shut down,
- job set up through complete preparation of molds for pouring.
- Clean and maintain equipment and work areas to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience working in a foundry or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced and sometimes demanding environment.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to safety guidelines and procedures.
