Job Description
Join Velmora Fragrances, a luxury inspired fragrance brand, as a Retail Sales Associate. We’re looking for an enthusiastic, customer focused individual who enjoys helping people discover fragrances they’ll love.
As the face of our brand, you’ll provide exceptional customer service, recommend fragrances based on customer preferences, educate customers about perfume oils and sprays, and create a memorable shopping experience. You’ll also play an important role in maintaining our kiosk’s premium appearance, keeping inventory organized, and helping us achieve daily sales goals.

Responsibilities
- Welcome every customer with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude.
- Build rapport with customers and identify their fragrance preferences.
- Recommend suitable fragrances based on customer taste, occasion, and budget.
- Demonstrate perfume oils, sprays, and roll-ons using tester strips and skin application when appropriate.
- Explain fragrance notes, longevity, projection, and differences between products.
- Meet and exceed daily and monthly sales goals.
- Process purchases accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments responsibly.
- Upsell and cross-sell products and promotional offers.
- Encourage repeat business by providing an exceptional customer experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and luxury-looking kiosk at all times.
- Restock merchandise, refill testers, organize displays, and monitor inventory levels.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Receive shipments, organize stock, and report low inventory.
- Maintain cleanliness of bottles, displays, shelving, mirrors, and workstations.
- Ensure all products are correctly labeled, priced, and merchandised.
- Follow company standards for grooming, appearance, and customer interaction.
- Participate in product knowledge training and continuously learn about new fragrances.
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales or customer service experience required.
- Previous perfume, fragrance, beauty, cosmetics, luxury retail, or mall kiosk sales experience is a strong plus.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, confident, and outgoing personality.
- Comfortable approaching and engaging customers.
- Ability to quickly learn fragrance profiles and product knowledge.
- Basic computer and POS system experience.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Weekend, holiday, and evening availability preferred.

Pay Structure
Based on what we’ve discussed previously for Velmora.
- $14–15/hour + commission for experienced sales associates.
- $12–13/hour + commission for entry-level candidates with strong customer service skills.
Pay: $14.00 per hour
