The BG Service Co., Inc. is an aerospace & industrial products manufacturer seeking a Customer Care and Logistics Coordinator. BG is a leader in the development and manufacture of ignition technologies for a wide range of applications.
Role Description:
The Customer Care and Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating customer shipments and providing customer care. The coordinator works directly with our customers to take orders and manage shipping arrangements.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate customer shipments (common carrier, LTL, etc.)
- Generate customer invoices
- Complete export and customs documents
- Take incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate recipient
- Process customer orders via phone and email
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding order status
- Greet company guests (vendors, customers, and service providers) and direct them to the appropriate personnel
- Coordinate with the production planning team to help meet customer needs
- Update customer shipping database and contacts as needed
A successful candidate should have …
- Associates degree or equivalent experience
- 1 year of experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Must be highly motivated / self-starter
- Detail-oriented
- Good time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
