Griffith Foods is hiring a Human Resources Specialist to help deliver a seamless employee experience while ensuring our people processes run smoothly and efficiently , serving as a trusted resource for employees and managers.
T his is your opportunity to join Human Resources in an early-career generalist posit ion that provides exposure to all areas of Human Resources , along with opportunities to learn from experienced leaders while taking on increasing responsibility over time.
As a Human Resources Specialist , your responsibilities will include:
Coordinating and conducting new hire orientation for all employees reporting to the Alsip site, including orientation content/materials, preparation, Workday update and E-Verify completion
Maintain ing employee records in Workday, ensuring new hire information, status changes, and employee updates are accurate and timely .
Troubleshoot ing HRIS access issues for employees and managers, including password resets, account lockouts, and system navigation questions.
The Human Resources Specialist position is well-suited for you if you:
Find fulfillment in building positive relationships with a wide range of people, including management, plant employees, and outside visitors .
Qualified candidates will have:
Bachelor's d egree in Human Resources , Business , industrial / org. behavior, psychology, or a r elated field
This role is affiliated to the ALSIP, IL location, and candidates for this role need to reside within a commutable distance of that location and will be required to come into that location . You may be asked to travel to other locations periodically for meetings.
