Tired of battling under-staffed night shifts? Our privately-owned facility has fully staffed C.N.A. shifts so that you can focus on nursing. We are looking for an experienced Charge Nurse to join our team and provide quality care to our residents in the main building. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff, providing guidance and direction to ensure that the highest standards of care are met. The Charge Nurse will also be responsible for monitoring patient progress, providing long-term care plans, and ensuring that all regulations and policies are followed.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate nursing care for geriatric patients.
- Assess patient's physical and mental health status.
- Provide education to patients and families on long-term care plans.
- Develop and implement nursing care plans for geriatric patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient's progress and document changes in condition.
- Communicate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality of care.
