Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Experienced Cherry Picker to join our dynamic warehouse team. Responsibilities
- Safely operate cherry pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment to retrieve items from high shelves and storage areas
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to ensure correct items are selected
- Load and unload shipments efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and PPE requirements
- Conduct quality control checks during picking and packing processes to maintain high standards of accuracy
- Assist with shipping & receiving activities, including verifying inbound/outbound shipments and updating inventory records
- Support warehouse distribution operations by stocking shelves, organizing materials, and maintaining a clean workspace
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors on inventory management, order fulfillment, and process improvements
Requirements
- Proven experience operating cherry pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, or similar heavy equipment in a warehouse setting
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and order picking procedures
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, stocking, and packaging materials safely
- Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols and PPE use at all times during operations
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment operation and troubleshooting is preferred
- Previous experience in shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, or warehouse distribution is highly desirable
- Excellent attention to detail for quality control and accurate order picking
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive lifting tasks efficiently
